TRIBE
Our tribe comprises of LGBTQ people who share a common social life and interests in a diverse range of alternate sexual practices. This potentially diverse group of people is tied together by a form of cultural unity and common language. With the merging of such a diverse set of people and backgrounds, a set of beliefs or assumptions can provide powerful and creative opportunities to experience and create fantasy; while also providing a format for self-identification. A tribe protects its’ territories, in this case physical and mental. Our tribal space has a strong psychological and cultural link to our natural environments or to basic animal instincts within the human psyche, or both.

Who is Oya Yansa?!
Oya is a Great Yoruban Orisha. She is the Queen goddess of the Storms and Winds of Change, and Her realm ranges from rainbows to thunder. She can manifest as winds ranging from the gentlest breeze to the raging hurricane or cyclone. She is feared by many people because She brings about sudden structural change in people and things. Oya does not just rearrange the furniture in the house -- She knocks the building to the ground and blows away the floor tiles. Oya, is about absolute change (especially for the good) and is not a slow or very patient energy. It is She who assists us with rapid inner and outer transformation. Oya is known as a fierce Warrior goddess and a strong Protectress. Oya is the guardian of the realm between life and death. She is not only the Goddess gatekeeper of mortum but also the Goddess of clairvoyance, psychic abilities, intuition and rebirth.
As a Tribe, W/we regularly honor Her with offering in accordance with the guidance of Spiritual Counsel.
